Outdoor Learning

At WHSS, all students participate in discrete outdoor learning sessions led by an Outdoor Learning Specialist. They have access to extensive school grounds, including a nature garden and farm, where they experience cross-curricular lessons that enrich their educational journey.

Annual school camps offer more adventurous activities with external providers, providing additional hands-on learning experiences. Additionally, all students have the opportunity to work towards the Duke of Edinburgh Award, promoting personal growth, leadership, and community involvement through outdoor challenges and achievements.
