At WHSS, our Construction Skills curriculum, based on City and Guilds qualifications, introduces students to the core areas of construction.
Through practical, hands-on learning, students gain foundational skills in areas like bricklaying, joinery, plumbing, and painting. The program emphasizes employability by focusing on safety, appropriate conduct, and customer service in construction settings. Units such as "Health and Safety" and "Constructing Half Brick Walling" prepare students for potential careers or further training in the industry, equipping them with both technical and professional skills.
