GREAT NEWS!!
One of our students at The William Henry Smith school has been awarded a prize in the ‘Unique Arts Award 2022’ competition. This is a national arts competition funded by the Mouth and foot Painting Trust. The Unique Art Awards is an art competition for children with special education needs between the ages of 7-21 years old. The William Henry Smith school has been fortunate as well to have previous winners over the past 5 years of this prestigious award.
This is an annual competition for SEN students to celebrate different art creations. We have been fortunate to have a number of previous winners and this year we have another student. The charity gave the theme of Nature whereby our students entry was his super donkey photography.
He has been invited to London on the 17th September 2022 at the Copthorne Tara Hotel in London with his mum. to receive his prize at a formal dinner where he will find out whether it is Gold, Silver or Bronze. We are super proud and he is very happy to have been invited to London to receive his prize.
