RESIDENTIAL SOCIAL CARE WORKER 

  NJC pt. 8/9 - 17 (£19,945/£20,344 - £23,836)

 (To include one weekend in every four on a rota basis, with some flexibility required. Also includes sleep-ins)

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Residential Social Care Worker, with excellent communication skills and the ability to form strong relationships with children and young people. The successful candidate will enjoy being part of an energetic and successful care team, be keen to provide varied social learning experiences, be involved in education, health and care planning, report writing and, enjoy the challenge of working with some very special complex young people. The successful candidate will play an active part within the 24 hour curriculum, supporting learning in both the care and classroom settings and offer proactive support to young people and their families. They will work closely with the school’s therapy/communication team, with the support of Learning Mentor Teams, which serve to provide holistic and creative wrap around care and support for all our young people.

PREMISES/MAINTENANCE PERSON

  NJC pt. 6 - 14 (£19,171 - £22,462)

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to be part of our facilities and maintenance team within the school. The post holder must be able to prioritise, manage and organise their own workload and ensure the school has a high quality environment at all times. We are looking for individuals who wants to be a part of developing and enhancing the schools existing site team. A strong all-round knowledge and skill base in a multi trade environment would be preferable.  The role will involve the implementation of a programme of planned maintenance including joinery, general building work and repairs, painting and decorating and overall maintenance. We will be looking to the post holder to assist in the introduction of systems and regimes for monitoring standards across the site. The successful candidate will be required to understand and follow Health and Safety Guidance and ensure that the practices and procedures are conducted in line with legal compliance needs applicable to the school.
