The William Henry Smith School is a non-maintained residential special school for boys aged 7-19 experiencing Social, Emotional and Mental Health challenges. We are a not for profit charitable organisation providing ‘Ofsted Outstanding’ education, therapy and care. Our vision is to ensure opportunities for success are provided through a diverse programme of bespoke learning pathways and life skills which serve to develop resilience and skills for life-long learning, enabling our students to become the best they can be.

The School requires a qualified cook to join the school’s catering team. We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, forward thinking and self-motivated individual who can bring new innovative ideas to the catering team. We are looking for an individual who is well trained and up to date with current legislation with regards to nutrition and food standards in Schools and is able to look at new ways of working and develop best working practices within the team. A basic food hygiene certificate and GCSE Maths and English would also be desirable.
